Network and Data Security for Small Businesses

Guest: Darryl MacLeod, Senior Security Consultant, AG Research

Most SMB's assume they are safe from security threats due to their size. It is the complete opposite. Malicious entities don't discriminate. A malicious entity could be anything from a script kiddie, a spammer, a sophisticated hacker, or even a disgruntled employee. In this day and age, SMB's need to develop an overall security plan (aka a security posture) to protect their data from both internal and external threats. Our guest will describe some of the possible threats and outline some of the possible solutions to help mitigate those threats.
